God answers that he is surprised by how humans (1) rush through childhood to adulthood but then long to be children again, (2) sacrifice their health to make money and then spend money to restore their health, and (3) worry so much about the future that they forget to live in the present. God also shares that the most important life lessons are to learn that (1) you cannot make anyone love you, (2) the most valuable things in life are people not possessions, and (3) you must forgive yourself as well as be forgiven by others.
