A landscape consists of various land forms that make up the relief of an area, including both natural features that have not been changed by people as well as man-made features. Landscapes can contain mountains and valleys, plains and plateaus, beaches and cliffs, and may include forests, fields, plains, villages, and other natural and man-altered land forms. Relief maps use different colors to represent the different elevations and land forms that make up the relief of a landscape's relief.
