 Organization –
1) Is the place were people worked cohesively for
common goals/causes.
2) Organized group of people with a particular purpose
e.g business, Govt., education etc.
 Behaviour –
The way in which an animal or person behaves in
response to a particular situation or stimulus
5. Definition of OB
1) OB refers to the behaviour of individuals and groups
within organizations and the interaction between
organizational members and their external
environments.
2) OB may be understood to be the study of human
behaviour in organizational setting, of the interface
between human behaviour and the organization and
of the organization itself.
7. Foundation of OB
The subject of OB is based on a few fundamental
concepts which revolve around the nature of people
and organizations.
