SMEDA is organizing a one day workshop on export finance and long term finance facilities for SMEs. The workshop will cover topics like export finance schemes, pre-shipment finance, post-shipment finance, long term finance facilities, Islamic export refinance schemes, and exchange and payment risks in export. SMEDA has invited Mr. Raees Ahmed Shaikh to speak in the evening session on the expectations and requirements of commercial banks for availing Islamic export finance parts I and II as outlined by the State Bank. SMEDA looks forward to a positive response from Mr. Shaikh to participate as a guest speaker by December 16th.
