In the beginning and the Spirit of God hovered over the surface of the deep. Hear O Israel, the Lord is One In the beginning was the Word I and the Father are One Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus claimed not the expected title of Messiah but the divine title Son of Man. Jesus claimed without hesitation to be the Son of God. The natural response of many met Jesus was to fall at his feet in worship. Roman Emperor Pliney recognized that the Christians worshiped Jesus as if a god.
