Productivity
The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) stipulates how long a machine can be used each day based on how much vibration it generates. Two vibration measurements affect mowers: Whole Body Vibration (WBV) Hand Arm Vibration (HAV) Lower vibration, longer hours

The results to focus on are: Exposure Action Value (EAV) Exposure Limit Value (ELV) These numbers illustrate the amount of vibration an operator has been subjected to during a days work. Proving the point
Exposure Action Value (EAV) If a mower exceeds this value during a day the owner is advised to show they have assessed the risk to the operator and taken necessary precautions. A mower with independent suspension vibrates less so it can be used longer before reaching the EAV. Proving the point
Exposure Limit Value (ELV) The operator must stop using a machine once this value has been reached. A mower with independent suspension vibrates less so it can be used longer before reaching the ELV. Proving the point

Accuracy
