Be reflexive about your ties to the community you are researching. What is your responsibility to the community you are researching? This is important to ask yourself
Be open to other disciplines, approaches, and ideas as points of inspiration
Constantly externalize your ideas and observations ..draw, map, visualize, SAVE IT!
Think early on about how you will operationalize what youre trying to observe .
sometimes you dont immediately realize the significance of your fieldwork.until later
Be open to findings and observations outside of your research questionYou dont get to chose what you observe.Barry Brown
