Social media, particularly Facebook, can be used to maximize profits if leveraged correctly. The document discusses how creating engaging Facebook fan pages that target the largest demographics of 18-25 year olds can help drive significant traffic and signups for products and services at little to no cost. FACEBOOK, TWITTER, MYSPACE They say if you join them, get lots of friends, youll make a lot of money. Or youll build your list
BUT, HOW DO YOU DO IT? Before I tell you How let me tell you Why you should use social media, particularly Facebook. Here are some stats and figures
LETS GET TECHNICAL! (courtesy Inside Facebook) The largest age group is 18-25 followed by 26-34 and then 35-44. BUT WHAT DOES THAT MEAN TO ME?!!!
IT MEANS If your product or service target audience is 18-25 year olds, then you will find them on Facebook. Or if you want to know how many of those are men and how many are women, know that women are the fastest growing demographic on Facebook.
SO WHAT, HOW DO THEY FIND ME? Well, you could always buy an ad on Facebook, but why buy the milk when you can get the cow for free? Use Fan Pages and create a rock star following and make money in the process. Take a look at one I created recently
CREATE YOUR FAN PAGE USING FBML
WHAT IS FBML? FBML is Facebook Markup Language. This allows you to customize your Facebook Fan Pages so they look professional.
