The document discusses theories around peak oil and potential outcomes as oil reserves decline. It introduces Hubbert's peak oil theory that production reaches a maximum and declines. It also discusses potential societal collapse from lack of oil. However, it notes that new extraction technologies could expand reserves and some experts believe reserves are undercounted. The document advocates transitioning to renewable energy and zero-emission cities to establish a sustainable future beyond fossil fuels.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen, respectful referees, audience, participants. before I start , I would like to thank his highness Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoom for gathering us in such great event and all the organizers and associates. Let me introduce you ourselves, we are students from collage of engineering, University of bahrain, im Yonis, and my colleges are : Mohammed, Muaz and Salman.
Our topic this morning will be about this question: Is this the peak oil era?
The story of the earth, the planet we all live on. Actually humans dominated earth for millions years and..
Started to search for life supporters to survive and recourses for energy, like food, and water.
They dig the deserts looking for these resources, And suddenly ..
They found what he wasnt expecting
, a huge amount of energy
And a black gold was discovered
new revolution is began
And This new energy brought new technologies
technologies which converted deserts
Into cities
It changes the face of earth
It has penetrated the sky
And reaches what beyond the sky
1- Easy to extract, and transport. 2- Easy to use. 3- 1 Gallon = 36.000 K.cal 4- Convertible to varies chemicals products.

Oil is non-renewable resource, it takes hundreds of millions of years to form.
And we have extracted and burned what is take all these years to form in just about 100 years!
Do we have to panic? For the mean time we dont have to panic, because even if the earth contains only a finite quantity of accessible oil, and there doesnt seem to be any indication of a significant decline in oil demand in the near future. However, we cannot simply suddenly run out of oil.
But, there are theories try to predict different scenarios.
This is an oil well which has just been drilled for the first time in this region. A wonderful bursting black fountain, caused by the extreme pressure underground.
After a while this pressure will decrease, and will need to use technology to suck more of the black gold
Again. Technology is our friend
Impacts predicted to happen after the peak.
