The International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) is a global organization devoted to horticultural research, education, and industry. It was established in 1864 and formally constituted in 1959. ISHS works to improve human well-being through building and sharing knowledge about horticulture. It has over 7,000 individual members across 143 countries and provides ongoing support to professionals through meetings and publications.
