- 4. SPP was a new insurance product launched by Combined Insurance, a CHUBB company where the responsibility was to do end to end testing for the new product for 30+ states in US. Responsibilities: Worked for CHUBB as a Mainframe Tester. The project was all about launching new insurance product in 30+ states in US. Analyze business and technical requirements to create test cases, approach and script. Test the batch and online modules to verify whether the change meets the new business requirements. Testing CICS mapping manually checking the validations of the maplets. Testing the batch program, compiled and executed by JCL. Created traceability matrix between requirements and test cases. Validate that new product is giving as expected result for each and every scenarios. Responsible for planning testing procedures and test conditions under the instructions of Team Lead. Project # 2 Project Name : Payment Card Industry (PCI) Client : Combined Insurance, a CHUBB company Company : Accenture, Chennai Role : Mainframe Tester and Functional Tester Description: PCI is one of the biggest projects in Combined Insurance where the projects goal was to remove all the real credit card numbers from all systems and databases, application in Combined Insurance like Finance, web, claims, imaging etc and replaced the credit cards with tokenized credit card numbers where a lot of third party vendors are involved for this whole process. The projects motto was to follow end to end PCI standard to make the client PCI compliance. Worked in this project for 8 months and involved in end to end mainframe testing to satisfy all the PCI compliance and achieved the same. Tools and Technologies Used: COBOL, JCL, IDMS, DB2, MS Excel, VBA Macro, Responsibilities: Took complete ownership as a PCI tester and performed both Mainframe (batch and online) and non- mainframe testing for Finance and Imaging portfolio. Responsibility was to understand the requirement and the importance of multi portfolio involvement, and have written Test Script, Test Approach, Test Plan and Schedule for the PCI project. Created several negative test scenarios in SIT phase itself to test negative testing. Created a VBA tool macro to automate the Test Data entry in Credit Card online system. Created bug reports and tracked all the defects in all the phases of testing in the JIRA tool.
