Chaithanya welcomed everyone to the inaugural ceremony of the WIE Student Affinity Group at IEEE KITS SB. They thanked the principal, branch counselor, and chapter chair for their support in making the group possible. The event featured two guest lectures - one on "Careers in Science" by Dr. Swarna Bai Arniker and another on "Open Source and its Research Perspectives" by Dr. Y. Vijaya Latha. Chaithanya hoped that attendees would find the lectures useful and wished everyone an enjoyable day at the event.

A very Good Morning to all .Iam Chaithanya studying IV year EEE,Chairperson of WIE Student Affinity Group of IEEE KITS SB.I warmly welcome you all to the inaugural ceremony of WIE.First of all I would like to thank our Principal K.Ashoka Reddy Sir,M. Raghu Ram Sir Branch Counselor IEEE KITS SB., S. P. Girija mam Chapter Chair, WIE- SAG for giving their support and making IEEE WIE student affinity group possible .Its our pleasure to have Dr. Swarna Bai Arniker, Scientist E,Research centre Imarat,DRDO and Dr. Y. Vijaya Latha, Chair, WIE-AG, IEEE Hyderabad Section as our guests.IEEE WIE is the largest professional organization which aims in promoting women students and scientists.It exposes women in technical areas globally.Today we have two guest lectures.One is regarding Carrers in Science by Swarna Bai Arniker mam and other lecture is regarding Open Source and its Research Perspectives by Vijayalatha mam. Iam pretty sure that by the end of the event you will get useful information regarding careers in science and Open source Technology.Enjoy the day.Thank you everyone.
