This poem discusses the endless cycle of hopelessness, as even in times of need, sorrow, and despair, any hope or expectation of comfort or a spark to light the path reaches nowhere and remains just plain hope unable to be sparked. The cycle never ends and is endless, as any momentary hope is unable to be fulfilled.

It Never Ends
1. It Never Ends
Even in the moments of need
It’s helpless to hope
For what remains is mere expectation
An expectation that reaches no where.
Even in the deepest wound of sorrow
It’s helpless to look for a little comfort
For still, it’s just a plain hope
That reaches no place, but a total blankness.
Even in the moments of despair
It seems so hopeless
For a little spark to shine your path,
For even the spark needs to be sparked.
It never ends
Because it’s just endless…
