The number of jobs in 2012 was 422,000, and job outlook from 2012-2022 was projected to increase by 11%, which is about as fast as average growth. The Bureau of Labor Statistics expects 12.2% job growth for real estate sales agents between 2010-2020, adding 52,500 new jobs during that period. Real estate will generate employment for at least 17 million people by 2025.
