The author is from Tonga but now lives in Australia. Their Tongan culture places great importance on traditions, including prayer at events like weddings and funerals and large feasts of food. At schools in Tonga, there are strict uniform rules, such as dresses in school colors for girls and short, maintained hair for boys, along with regulations for shoes. Music in Tongan culture features happy tunes and melodies played on instruments like guitar, ukulele, and drums, with modern music retaining similar sounds through remixes of original songs.
