1. International Relations Specialist
The company
Réseau Alliances, founded in 1993, currently has a staff of 16, more than 50 volunteers and more than 30 public
and private partners. 200 companies are now members, about a 1/3 of the workforce of the region ( Nord –
Pas de Calais).
Its mission statement is to help the companies of the region Nord Pas de Calais as they embark toward
corporate social responsibility, by detecting and promoting the best practices of the companies.
Réseau Alliances strives to raise awareness (organization of conferences), coaches companies with specific
training, workshops and diagnostics.
Réseau Alliances also works on diversity with a program of help with job hunting for young graduates from
minorities.
The World Forum Lille (WFL), organized by Réseau Alliances since 2007, aims to work toward a more responsible
economy, by sharing with representatives from all over the world examples of success of best practices.
Research and studies also take place through the World Forum Institute.
The job
Réseau Alliances is organized around:
4 departments: coaching of companies, best practices, diversity, World Forum Lille
2 areas: communication and partnerships, finance and administration
This job is set in the World Forum Department. The international relations specialist reports to the head of the
World Forum department.
The international relations specialist contributes to the development of the international network of the World
Forum Lille, manages the international database of best practices. He or she will work closely with the best
practices’ department. The ideal candidate will also participate actively in the organization of the World Forum
Lille (Nov 14 to 16 2012) .
What you will do
1) Grow the international network
The detection of the best practices all over the world is done via an international network growing every year.
In 2011, all the known contacts have been listed and the other possibly useful networks have been identified.
The job will be to assist the director of the department to:
• Continue to qualify the database with the best and most useful new contacts
• Identify the most strategic networks and establish initial contact
• Follow up with the existing partners
2) Enrich the international database
The international database of Réseau Alliances is the foundation of all the departments of the organization. It is
enriched via the speakers of the World Forum, the partners of international networks and other channels.
The responsibility of the international relations specialist will be to:
- Document the best practices of the speakers at the WFL
- Detect the best practices of international networks and form partnerships with these networks
- Study the proposals of companies or other contributors
3/ Another aspect of the job will be to
- Research the possible speakers for the WFL
- Monitor the international news about CSR
- Participate actively in the organization of the WFL in November
2. What you need to do the job
• Skills
You are perfectly fluent in English and French
You are an experienced project manager
You understand the concept of CSR
An experience in event management would be an asset
Comfortable with Pack Office
A second language would be a plus
