1. ANNEX 1. JOB DESCRIPTION
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Underneath is the job description for Mr. Daniel Sadana, who has been appointed by
Terre des Hommes Netherlands as per July 15, 2009 until October 31, 2009 as a
Physiotherapist in Flores.
The main duties and responsibilities are as follows:
a) Together with Community Organizer and TdH-NL local partner, assesses and
advises on the referral to the appropriate medical services.
b) Set up the childs treatment plan involving the childs family.
c) Conduct home visit and implement the treatment plan.
d) Gives clear and simple explanation to the child and his/her family regarding the
treatment.
e) Motivate the family or guardian to do exercise when the physiotherapist is not
around.
f) Ensure that information on treatment is updated on the client record.
g) Report on a monthly basis in writing to the regional office in Jakarta, either to
Ms. Ilona Iskandar, program officer Indonesia or Mr. Frans van Dijk, regional
representative of TdH-NL.
The Physiotherapist will execute the described tasks above to the best of his abilities.
Any differences in interpretation of the described tasks and/or any difficulty in fulfilling
these tasks should be solved through consultation and discussion with the Program
Officer and/or the Regional Representative of Terre des Hommes Netherlands Southeast
Asia Regional Office.
