- 2. Why I race? I race for myself; and Other individuals (women, men, and children) that have been affected by breast cancer. My Goals To continue being an advocate for breast cancer. To share my story with others, currently being treated or has been treated for breast cancer; and To share information regarding resources that may be available to them.

I am a member of Clecos Power the Cure Team. Feel free to join our team. Why Support Komen CenLa Race for the Cure? 75% of the funds raised locally are used in the community to provide mammogram screenings, diagnostics, education, research, and additional treatment support services. Only 25% of the funds raised locally go to the national organization for research. Register Now and Support the Cause
