Jointak was established in 1984 in Hong Kong with four looms weaving labels. It has since grown to employ over 1,500 staff worldwide and produce a full range of labeling products including woven, printed, leather, and digital labels. Jointak has expanded globally through acquisitions and now has production in Hong Kong, China, UK, Europe, Australia, India, and Bangladesh. From this humble beginning Jointak has evolved into a serious trims manufacturer employing over 1,500 highly trained staff worldwide. Jointak is proud to count itself amongst the first in the industry to offer a full and comprehensive range of products including all types of woven and printed labels, leather patches, rubber patches, stickers, embroideries and plastic seals together with a sophisticated variable data processing capability for all types of tickets and labels. More recently Jointak has developed a cutting edge web-based brand protection and authentication technology, CertiEye , which has been added to a portfolio of innovative brand protection technologies within the group. During the 2000?s Jointak responded to the ever increasing globalisation of the textile industry by expanding out of Hong Kong and China into Australia and Europe. This growth was achieved by acquiring Cash?s, a UK and Australia-based apparel accessories and security labels solution provider with a proud 165 years of heritage. Cash?s, well-known in the trims industry for quality and innovation, was the perfect addition to the Jointak group bringing with it a powerful web based ordering system, well established brand protection experience and an understanding of the requirements of the modern retail world. The Jointak Group now has production and distribution in Hong Kong, China, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, India and Bangladesh.
