anxiety variables in adults; also, to examine the predictors of individuals' socio-demographic characteristics on the
variables of the study. The sample of the study consisted of 260 adult people. According to the first findings of the
study, there was a significant negative relationship between the the Adult Attachment Style (AASS) and the the
Liebowitz Social Anxiety (LSAS), a significant negative relationship between (AASS) and the Generic Scale of
Phubbing (GSP), and a positive relationship between (LSAS) and the (GSP) was found. Secondly, it was determined
that there was no significant difference between the socio-demographic characteristics of the phubbing variable, and
there was a significant difference in the purpose of using the smart phone and the duration of using the smart phone.
While the variable of attachment styles differs significantly according to gender. Finally, although the social anxiety
variable does not differ according to income level, age groups and duration of social media use, it has been found to
differ according to gender. According to the results of the regression analysis, it is concluded that simple linear
regression can be established by seeing that these equations support the assumption of normality.

In 1975, the psychologists Dolf Zillmann, Jennings Bryant and Joanne Cantor used Girl on a Motorcycle ( a movie) in a classic experiment to demonstrate how physical activity can affect conscious, rational thoughts.
All the participants in the study watched the film, but only after engaging in a workout riding a bike of their own, in fact, albeit just an exercise bike with few if any pounding pistons.
The key to the experiment was that each subject took in Marianne Faithfulls performance while on one of the three different stages of physiological arousal that followed exercising.
In the first phase, right after the physical activity is over, we know that our high level of arousal heart pumping, maybe shortness of breath are because of having exercised.
In the second and key phase, we believe we have calmed down and are back to our normal arousal state, yet we are actually still physiologically aroused.
In the third and final phase, arousal is actually returned to normal levels and we correctly believe that we are no longer physiologically aroused.
Motorcycles and Misattribution

The question Zillmann and his colleagues asked was how the participants state of arousal following the workout would affect how sexually aroused he became by watching the segment of Girl on a Motorcycle.
The subjects in the first phase of the heightened physiological state resulting from the exercise, who were still fully aware of the exercises effect on them, didnt report any greater level of sexual arousal from the movie than did a non-exercising control group.
And participants in the third phase, who were no longer actually aroused from the exercise, also were not that sexually aroused by the movie.
In fact, both the first and the third group reported fairly negative impression of the film. Importantly, those were the groups that has an accurate read on their arousal level.
But then there was a second group. That is where things got interesting. These participants did sense that they were biologically aroused while watching the movie; even though this was really caused by the lingering effects of their exercise. They thought the effect of exercise was over with, so they mistakenly attributed their arousal solely to Marriane Faithfull and her leather-bound adventure. They also reported liking the Girl on a Motorcycle significantly more than did the other two groups.

In the fall of 2011, Duke University in North Carolina added a new bullet point to its list of behaviors that constitute
academic dishonesty: the unauthorized use of prescription medication to enhance academic performance. This policy,
which so far has not been adopted at most other universities, represents Dukes attempt to address student use and abuse of
so-called study drugs, prescription medications intended to alleviate conditions such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity
disorder (ADHD). Sales of prescription stimulants such as Ritalin and Adderall have surged in recent years: From 2006 to
2010, they increased from $4 billion to more than $7 billion. According to the Higher Education Research Institute, about
5% of incoming freshmen in 2011 had diagnosed ADHD (Johnson, 2011). But the proportion of students using the drugs
prescribed to treat ADHD is larger. By one estimate, as many as a quarter of students on some college campuses have used
the drugs in the past year (Trudeau, 2009). According to a recent study, 62% of college students will be offered such
stimulants by their fourth year (Wild, 2013).
Interestingly, a report on the problem argues that those using study drugs are more likely to perform below average
academically and exhibit poor study habits. At the same time, the use of such substancessometimes called Ivy League
crackis found among students at all levels of achievement. Students take the drugs to enhance their concentration and
increase the time they can spend on tasks, though such use also carries the risk of irregular heartbeat, panic attacks,
addiction, and even death (Johnson, 2011). With more students using them, concerns about the drugs legality and safety
have been accompanied, as at Duke, by questions about how institutions of higher education should respond.
Duke administrators believe that use of the drugs by students to whom they have not been prescribed constitutes cheating,

Stereotypes are confirmation that certain specific roles are specifically designed for a particular gender or group of people. Stereotype play a critical role in the process of elimination of personal choices in various matters of interest. Living to the standards of the stereotypes caused a lot of physical and emotional damage to self since most of the expectations are usually unrealistic. The women's body image has experienced a lot of stereotypes because of the general quest for acceptance in society. Different scholars and authors share different views on the subject of women body's image. The womens body image issue is strongly related to both physical aspect of the matter and the psychological aspect which is related to the attitude.
Most of the cultures in the world reveal that women are greatly obsessed by the existing myth of beauty. The acceptance of these myths is influenced by the existence of various media influence that is consumed from television and social media (Stice et al., 2014). The effect of social media on behaviour and character is indisputable due to the fact that most trends in various parts of the world have been as a result of the power of social media. Therefore, most of the stereotypes on the state of the women body emanate from trending believes in the media.
Over the years, the media has fuelled the belief that slim women are more attractive than those with a lot of body flesh. Additionally, the media has always hailed the light skinned women as beautiful and looked down upon the women with dark skins (Stice et al., 2014). The repercussion of these media influences has been great and contributed to some life-threatening decisions among the women. For instance, most dark skinned women have been taking different therapies and medication with the intention of making themselves beautiful in the eyes of society.
Similarly, it is reported that most of the women who enrol in the gym program are pushed by the societal demand to slim in order to be accepted as beautiful (Stice et al., 2014). The gym programs and cosmetic industries have been booming recently due to the push from these beliefs in myths about women body. The infiltration of these myths into the hearts of the youths has been pushed mainly through social media and electronic media. The fitness programs are blended by the dieting process to achieve the desired body. It is a fact that most women strain in a quest to please the society.
The quest for acceptance in the society makes the myths about women body seem true despite the fact that they are misguided. Most of the women fight for acceptance in society and this leads to extreme measures of changing their body to suit the needs of the society. It is generally reported that most women have suffered while trying to please society.

anxiety variables in adults; also, to examine the predictors of individuals' socio-demographic characteristics on the
variables of the study. The sample of the study consisted of 260 adult people. According to the first findings of the
study, there was a significant negative relationship between the the Adult Attachment Style (AASS) and the the
Liebowitz Social Anxiety (LSAS), a significant negative relationship between (AASS) and the Generic Scale of
Phubbing (GSP), and a positive relationship between (LSAS) and the (GSP) was found. Secondly, it was determined
that there was no significant difference between the socio-demographic characteristics of the phubbing variable, and
there was a significant difference in the purpose of using the smart phone and the duration of using the smart phone.
While the variable of attachment styles differs significantly according to gender. Finally, although the social anxiety
variable does not differ according to income level, age groups and duration of social media use, it has been found to
differ according to gender. According to the results of the regression analysis, it is concluded that simple linear
regression can be established by seeing that these equations support the assumption of normality.

Dolf Zillmann, Jennings Bryant and Joanne Cantor Study
In 1975, the psychologists Dolf Zillmann, Jennings Bryant and Joanne Cantor used Girl on a Motorcycle ( a movie) in a classic experiment to demonstrate how physical activity can affect conscious, rational thoughts.
All the participants in the study watched the film, but only after engaging in a workout riding a bike of their own, in fact, albeit just an exercise bike with few if any pounding pistons.
The key to the experiment was that each subject took in Marianne Faithfulls performance while on one of the three different stages of physiological arousal that followed exercising.
In the first phase, right after the physical activity is over, we know that our high level of arousal heart pumping, maybe shortness of breath are because of having exercised.
In the second and key phase, we believe we have calmed down and are back to our normal arousal state, yet we are actually still physiologically aroused.
In the third and final phase, arousal is actually returned to normal levels and we correctly believe that we are no longer physiologically aroused.
Motorcycles and Misattribution

The question Zillmann and his colleagues asked was how the participants state of arousal following the workout would affect how sexually aroused he became by watching the segment of Girl on a Motorcycle.
The subjects in the first phase of the heightened physiological state resulting from the exercise, who were still fully aware of the exercises effect on them, didnt report any greater level of sexual arousal from the movie than did a non-exercising control group.
And participants in the third phase, who were no longer actually aroused from the exercise, also were not that sexually aroused by the movie.
In fact, both the first and the third group reported fairly negative impression of the film. Importantly, those were the groups that has an accurate read on their arousal level.
But then there was a second group. That is where things got interesting. These participants did sense that they were biologically aroused while watching the movie; even though this was really caused by the lingering effects of their exercise. They thought the effect of exercise was over with, so they mistakenly attributed their arousal solely to Marriane Faithfull and her leather-bound adventure. They also reported liking the Girl on a Motorcycle significantly more than did the other two groups.

The Rise Of Study Drug Use Among U.S. Students
In the fall of 2011, Duke University in North Carolina added a new bullet point to its list of behaviors that constitute
academic dishonesty: the unauthorized use of prescription medication to enhance academic performance. This policy,
which so far has not been adopted at most other universities, represents Dukes attempt to address student use and abuse of
so-called study drugs, prescription medications intended to alleviate conditions such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity
disorder (ADHD). Sales of prescription stimulants such as Ritalin and Adderall have surged in recent years: From 2006 to
2010, they increased from $4 billion to more than $7 billion. According to the Higher Education Research Institute, about
5% of incoming freshmen in 2011 had diagnosed ADHD (Johnson, 2011). But the proportion of students using the drugs
prescribed to treat ADHD is larger. By one estimate, as many as a quarter of students on some college campuses have used
the drugs in the past year (Trudeau, 2009). According to a recent study, 62% of college students will be offered such
stimulants by their fourth year (Wild, 2013).
Interestingly, a report on the problem argues that those using study drugs are more likely to perform below average
academically and exhibit poor study habits. At the same time, the use of such substancessometimes called Ivy League
crackis found among students at all levels of achievement. Students take the drugs to enhance their concentration and
increase the time they can spend on tasks, though such use also carries the risk of irregular heartbeat, panic attacks,
addiction, and even death (Johnson, 2011). With more students using them, concerns about the drugs legality and safety
have been accompanied, as at Duke, by questions about how institutions of higher education should respond.
Duke administrators believe that use of the drugs by students to whom they have not been prescribed constitutes cheating,

Stereotypes are confirmation that certain specific roles are specifically designed for a particular gender or group of people. Stereotype play a critical role in the process of elimination of personal choices in various matters of interest. Living to the standards of the stereotypes caused a lot of physical and emotional damage to self since most of the expectations are usually unrealistic. The women's body image has experienced a lot of stereotypes because of the general quest for acceptance in society. Different scholars and authors share different views on the subject of women body's image. The womens body image issue is strongly related to both physical aspect of the matter and the psychological aspect which is related to the attitude.
Most of the cultures in the world reveal that women are greatly obsessed by the existing myth of beauty. The acceptance of these myths is influenced by the existence of various media influence that is consumed from television and social media (Stice et al., 2014). The effect of social media on behaviour and character is indisputable due to the fact that most trends in various parts of the world have been as a result of the power of social media. Therefore, most of the stereotypes on the state of the women body emanate from trending believes in the media.
Over the years, the media has fuelled the belief that slim women are more attractive than those with a lot of body flesh. Additionally, the media has always hailed the light skinned women as beautiful and looked down upon the women with dark skins (Stice et al., 2014). The repercussion of these media influences has been great and contributed to some life-threatening decisions among the women. For instance, most dark skinned women have been taking different therapies and medication with the intention of making themselves beautiful in the eyes of society.
Similarly, it is reported that most of the women who enrol in the gym program are pushed by the societal demand to slim in order to be accepted as beautiful (Stice et al., 2014). The gym programs and cosmetic industries have been booming recently due to the push from these beliefs in myths about women body. The infiltration of these myths into the hearts of the youths has been pushed mainly through social media and electronic media. The fitness programs are blended by the dieting process to achieve the desired body. It is a fact that most women strain in a quest to please the society.
The quest for acceptance in the society makes the myths about women body seem true despite the fact that they are misguided. Most of the women fight for acceptance in society and this leads to extreme measures of changing their body to suit the needs of the society. It is generally reported that most women have suffered while trying to please society.

There has been increased concern among policy makers, scientists and communities that health is greatly affected by a number of factors that occur in a persons lifetime and in multi levels. Prevention is sententious to curb occurrence of any disease within the population, and it has to come first even if access to quality healthcare services is provided. To adequately promote health and prevent diseases, certain policies and factors need to be addressed mostly factors that are related to health behaviors.
Social psychology is all about understanding individuals behavior specifically in a social setting. Basically, social psychology focuses on factors that influence people to behave in certain ways in presence of others. The two greatest contributors in the field of social psychology were Allport (1920) and Bandura (1963). To begin with, according to Allport; he argued that the interaction of individuals with others or the presence of social groups can encourage the development of certain behaviors (Kassin, 2014). This is what Allport referred to as social facilitation, in his research he identified that an audience will facilitate the performance of an actor in a well learnt and understood task; however the performance of the same actor will decrease in performance on difficult tasks which are newly learnt, and this is contributed by social inhibition. The second contributor in the field of social psychology is Bandura (1963), in his work he developed a notion that behavior in the social world could be possibly modeled, and this is what he referred to as social learning theory. He gave his explanation with three groups of children who were watching a video where in the video an adult showed aggressiveness towards a bobo doll and the adults who displayed such behavior were awarded by another adult or were just punished. Therefore Bandura found that children who saw the adult being rewarded were found to be more likely to imitate that adults behavior.
Certain theories plays important roles in health assessment, and a theory is defined as a collection of concepts in specific area of concern or interest in the world that need explanations, intervening and prediction. Theories need to be backed up with evidence that tend to explain why things will happen in relation to current situations, and followed with some actions to turn situations in certain desirable ways. Health assessment can be defined as a plan of care that recognizes specific persons health needs and how such needs will be addressed by healthcare system or any other health institutions (Jarvis, 2008).
