It is just a few more days before we undergo the NCA Leadership Journey. We will be meeting new friends, be with like-minded people, be sharing moments with kindred spirits. We will be meeting our God.
Have you prepared yourself? Have you spent time with yourself? Have you started reflecting about your life? Are you ready to look and reflect upon your life, your lifes work and choices? How are you?
That is why we invite you again to quiet down, have some time for yourself. Take away those burdens, those concerns, those problems. Put down your masks, your facades, your badges and emblems.
Let the true self surface the bare self that is away from all those defenses and coping mechanisms.

Have you been the persona of the song lost, tired, burdened, confused? What image of yourself is formed listening to the song?
3 Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture 4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: 6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. 7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; Psalm 37:3-7
Reflect/meditate on the Bible verse. What feelings surface while reflecting on the verse? What words/phrases strike you? What does the verse mean for you? What does it say to you? Reflection / Meditation
As you look at your heart, as you seek your core and as you contemplate on your life, what are your deepest desires? Why are these your deepest desires? Have you asked for these? Why? Why not?
Have you discussed your deepest desires with Him? You may want to talk to Him about it.
The Power of Your Love To end our last preparatory activity, kindly listen and watch the song after this slide. Again, try articulating the following: Feelings and Thoughts Insights Images of the self Message it wants to convey to you
It is in knowing our deepest desires that we find God; and it is in letting God lead our lives that we find our deepest desires.
However difficult or confusing life gets, the constant invitation for us is to see through our experiences as moments of love.
A love that is overflowing. A love that will always be with us in our journey embracing us, filling us from within, assuring us of its constant presence.
