The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) was founded in 1994 and will induct its one millionth member in 2014, celebrating 20 years of honoring high-achieving college students. NSCS started with one chapter and has now grown to over 750,000 members across 250 chapters nationwide. In addition to recognizing academic excellence, NSCS provides leadership development programs and over $400,000 in scholarships annually to support students in their educational journeys and development as scholars and leaders.
