This document provides an overview and summary of Revelation 4:1-5:14. It describes John's vision of heaven, including the throne in heaven surrounded by 24 elders and 4 living creatures. An important figure on the throne is described. John sees a scroll with 7 seals that only the Lamb, who is revealed to be Christ, is found worthy to open. Editor's Notes

  1. Whenever a test is given it is not for the teacher to find out where you stand. It is for you to find out where you stand. As much as you would love to have school with no tests; you would never really know where you stood until the test!When judgement falls on mankind it will be for the same purpose. One last chance for mankind to volunatarily make Christ king.
  2. Many believe that this is referencing the Rapture as promised in I Thes. 4:13-18Church age is done, and now judgment.Time not known! READ MATTHEW 24:36-42Meanwhile: We get a glimpse of what is going on in heaven!
  3. Jasper (diamond) and carnelian (Sardius)- symbolize Gods purity and mercy together with his justice and judgment. Refer back to breastplate of High PriestA rainbow, resembling anemerald- symbolize Gods faithfulness in always keeping his promises.
