Floral Arts & Design Studio was started in 2004 by Julia Suslova as a hobby with no formal floral design training available in Moldova. Her goals are to create jobs, develop floral arts at a higher level, open the first floral design school in Moldova with international support, and culturally enrich the Moldovan people. She has established contacts with famous international floral designers and schools and her works are purchased locally and abroad. Challenges include economic instability and a need for more support from public administration and international organizations to develop the creative industry in Moldova.
