Kamal Jumblatt gave a speech in 1956 arguing for an Arab/Palestinian/Jewish federation as a potential solution to the long-standing Arab-Israeli conflict. The speech transcript is being published in 1972 without commentary in order to allow the reader to form their own opinion. The publisher believes the rare manuscript has historical significance as it was a well-researched speech by the learned politician and scholar Kamal Jumblatt that dared to clearly propose and persuasively argue for a federation as an analysis-based solution to the problem.

Jumblatt speech 1956
2. The following is a transcript of a speech given by Kamal Jumblatt
in 1956. The following is from a booklet that published the speech
in 1972, with an introduction and a commentary. (I have excluded
both on purpose in order not to influence the opinion of the
reader).
I happen to believe that the following rare manuscript is of
historical significance since it is the product of a well researched
speech by a very learned scholar and politician, Kamal Jumblatt.
He dared spell out very clearly a concept based on a deep analysis
a potential solution for the Arab Israeli problem. He argues very
persuasively for an Arab/Palestinian/Jewish federation. I submit
this speech for whoever is interested in this conflict that has vexed
the world ever since the inception of the state of Israel in 1948.
