Thousands of teachers, firefighters, nurses, students, and NHS staff joined in an anti-cuts protest march. The march route went towards the houses of David Cameron and Nick Clegg to voice rejection of budget cuts arguing alternatives exist. Some activists vandalized property, threw gas bombs and paint at police, damaging banks in the process.
