SATKARYA VADA: TYPES
1.Asadakaranaat
2.Upaadaana Grhanaat
3.Sarva Sambhavaabhaavat
4.Shaktasya Shakya Karanaat
5.Kaaran Bhavaascha
copyright@ Dr KHALID.B.M drkhalidbaba46@gmail.com 12
1.ASADAKARANAAT
Asat means Non existent, Karana means production
Asat Akarana means non – existent is not produced
Ex: Growing of horns on Human head is impossible
Hence it can be stated that which exists is produced &
non existed is never produced
copyright@ Dr KHALID.B.M drkhalidbaba46@gmail.com 13
2. UPAADAANA GRHANAAT
For the proper effect the reliable cause should be
taken then only the wanted effect can be achieved
Ex: Taila is upaadan kaaran for tila taila
Tantu is upaadan kaaran for vastra
copyright@ Dr KHALID.B.M drkhalidbaba46@gmail.com 14
3.SARVA SAMBHAVAABHAAVAAT
Every thing can not be produced from every thing.
A particular thing is produced from a particular Karana
Ex: Neither gold is produced form silver nor milk is produced
from water.
It is not possible that any thing is produced from any thing.
copyright@ Dr KHALID.B.M drkhalidbaba46@gmail.com 15
4.SHAKTASYA SHAKYA KARANAAT
An effective cause only can produce an effective Karya.
Ex: Ghata is produced from Mrttika but not from Tantu
copyright@ Dr KHALID.B.M drkhalidbaba46@gmail.com 16
5.KAARAN BHAVAASCHA
The Kaaran & Kaarya are one, not different, Kaarya is
visible form & the Karana is invisible form.
Ex: The plant as per the seed, mango plant cannot
produced by ficus seeds.

KSHANABHANGURVADA
Excepted by Baudha Darshana
Everything of this universe is not static & eternal, instead
everything is momentary. Everything will be destructed in a
moment, every thing is produced in the first moment & exists
in second moment & gets destructed in the next moment.
