King Solomon was the third king of Israel who ruled from 970 to 931 BC. He was known for building both the First Temple in Jerusalem, which took seven years to construct using 30,000 workers, as well as expanding the royal palace. However, Solomon's later life was marked by a downfall from his early successes and wisdom as judge and builder.
