 Performance Analysis of Earth Air Heat Exchanger (Final Year Project of Bachelor in Mechanical
Engineering)
 Project by four team members.
 Objective:
o To development and implementation of a simulation model for heating and cooling for a residential
building.
o Avoid the adverse effect of air conditioning on human body and to save electricity in today’s energy
crisis.
o To achieve desired coefficient of performance.
o To evaluate coefficient of heat transfer with the help of nusselt number.
 Brief Work:
o The hot air is passed through the earth tube with the help of coil and blower. The temperature of soil
becomes lower than the surrounding temperature. The tube is a made up of mild steel and it is immersed
in the soil. When soil is in contact with tube, tube becomes cool by exchanging heat with the soil. And
finally the air passing from the tube will become cool than the room temperature
 Compressed Air Operated Vehicle (Final Year Project of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering)
 Project by four team members.
 Objective:
o Instantaneous maximum torque .
o The RPM revolution within reasonable range .
o The power output which is proportional to the product: Torque X rpm.
o Higher power-to-weight ratios.
o Mechanical simplicity.
o Less vibration.
o Sealing system has no revolutions-limit
o The Air engine rotates from pressure as low as 0.1 atm.
o Zero- pollution as natural air is used as power source
 Brief Work:
o In this project compressed air can be produced with the help of motion of wheel. Then this compressed
air is used to operate the vehicle. Compressed air production using vehicle wheel needs no fuel input
power to produce the output of the air. This air operated four wheeler is the new innovative concept to
run vehicle by using the compressed air system.
