Antalya is a city on Turkey's Mediterranean coast with over 20,000 square kilometers of surface area. It has 19 districts and over 640 kilometers of coastline. Antalya receives 13 million tourists annually, making it Turkey's top tourism destination. Its international airport is one of Europe's busiest. The city is also home to the largest number of five-star hotels in Turkey. A major project underway is the Bogacayi River Project, which after feasibility studies and architectural competitions, will create 40 additional kilometers of coastline and one of the world's most beautiful beaches. The city is also undergoing urban renewal projects in several neighborhoods.

After a competition jointly organized with Chamber of Architects, Mucip ?lger’s project is selected out of 51 projects. The coast is 6 km long and one of the most beautiful beach in Turkey also in the world. It has got a Blue Flag KONYAALTI COAST WILL BE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACH OF THE WORLD
Within the scope of Urban Renewal Master Plan, Kepez Santral Neighbourhood has been declared as "Urban Renewal Area" with the decision of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Assembly dated 16.04.2008 At the end of 2015, construction work will start. It is planned to be completed in 24 months. Balbey Neighbourhood In terms of deteriorated historic cultural assets, restructuring of Balbey neighborhood has been planned. The urban renewal decision will be submitted to council of ministers. Zeytink?y Neighbourhood In order to protect the social fabric of the neighborhood Urban transformation pre-project work began.
