1. The document discusses factoring polynomials and finding their domains. It explains how to factor the greatest common factor, factor further, and set each factor equal to 0 to find all real solutions and the domain.
2. It describes how to factor a polynomial by grouping and then factoring each group before adding them together and completing the factoring.
3. It discusses writing an equation for a graph, determining if it is even or odd, positive or negative, and finding its degree by analyzing the graph's behavior as x approaches positive and negative infinity.

1. 1.) Factor, Graph, and Find Domain
First you find the greatest common factor which is 2n
Then you factor further
Now, to find all real solutions you set each factor to 0
n-4 = 0 n-3 = 0
n = 4 n = 3 n = 0
domain = [0,3] U [4,)
2.) Factor by Grouping, and graph
First you group this equation
Then you factor each group
Next you add them together
Then you finish factoring
2. 3.) Wright an equation for this graph, tell whether it is even or odd, tell weather positive or
negative, and list degree.
Equation=
As X goes to positive infinity, Y goes to - positive infinity
As X goes to negative infinity, Y goes to - positive infinity
How do you know?
Bounce- even power
Straight through- power of 1
Curve- odd power 3 or higher
EVEN ODD POSITIVE NEGATIVE
Degree- 16
B -10
C -8
S -4
B 3
C 6
B 10
C 15
b- bounce
c- curve
s- straight
through
3. 4.) Long divide to find domain and graph.
0
0
0
Then you factor further.
Next you find all real solutions.
X= -2 x= 2 x= -4 x= 4
Then you find the domain.
Domain= (-,-4] u [-2, 2] u [4, )
4. My Reflection of this trimester
I have learned a lot this trimester. Even though I am extremely nervous for this exam and I did
not do very well on all the other tests but that is because I am a terrible test taker. I dont know
what it is but when I hear test I just blank. Other than that I feel very good about this tri in this
class and I learned a lot from my teacher. He taught me that there is more to teaching than just
knowing math or knowing the material your teaching. I only have one more trimester left of my
high school career. I am looking forward to the rest of my life and to college even thought I am
already taking some college classes.
