The purpose of this presentation is to share the outcome of a recent learning experience of a cross-cultural Videoconferencing (VC) project between Kuwait and Korean EFL/AFL learners that was held in November 2010. The presenter talks about the benefits of VC projects and how these kinds of activity can improve students' communications skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

23. Future Plans the Seoul Youth Center for Cultural Exchange 'MIZY' and the ELU-Science at Kuwait University agreed to repeat the VC learning experience for our EFL/AFL students in Spring 2011. Youngran Choi, a member of the Multicultural Education Program Team of MIZY and Buthaina AlOthman will start planning and organizing the new VC project in Mid February 2011. 24. Final Word The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change. Buthaina AlOthman is an EFL/ESP instructor at the English Language Unit of Science in Kuwait University since 2001. She is also a webhead in action since the community of practice was founded in 2001-02 by Vance Stevens in Abu-Dhabi. Buthaina is also a member of the collaborative TESOL EVO mentoring team. 2/6/11
