This document summarizes a community meeting about renovating the Lamond-Riggs Neighborhood Library in Washington D.C. It provided an agenda and timeline for the project, introduced the design and construction teams, discussed the role of libraries historically and today, and solicited early community feedback. Community members expressed a desire for more lounge space, computer classes, children's areas, and meeting spaces. The project is scheduled to begin design in late 2018 with an interim space in early 2020 and completion in late 2021.
