Mexican state of Sonora,
head of the municipality
of the same name. It is
located in the
southeastern part of the
State of Sonora.

Tirado, distinguished Sonora, originally from
Poplar, doctor, singer, philanthropist and

FEAST OF OUR LADY OF LA
BALVANERA
The

feast of the Virgin of La
balvanera are performed
between 20 and 25 November
of each year and are a
tradition for visitors and
residents, this is carried out in
a place called the office
where all the visitors come to
have fun and lay hold candles
to the Virgin of balvanera.
HISTORY
Alamos

was founded in the
late seventeenth century
after the discovery of silver
mines in the region, was one
of the first Spanish
settlements in what is now
the state of Sonora and
became the main settlement
in the region, the name it was
known in its early years was
Real de Los Frailes or Real de
la Limpia Concepción de los
Alamos.

CHURCH OF THE IMMACULATE
CONCEPTION
In

the late seventeenth
century, when he founded the
Real of Los Alamos or the
Friars, as it is also known, a
church was built with thick
adobe walls plastered in
