This session explores how innovative models in a collaborative economy can be leveraged to finance and protect biodiversity. Through the example of Proyecto Land, a proptech initiative from Chile, we will showcase how fractional ownership of vacation properties can fund the conservation and regeneration of ecosystems. The session will present the challenges and successes of applying this model to create a network of protected areas, with the goal of scaling across Latin America
