The Laudatio repository project aims to provide long-term access and reuse of historical text corpora and linguistic annotations according to open access principles. It uses a modular approach with TEI XML and a Fedora repository to store complex corpus data structures. Users can import, search, browse, modify and analyze annotated historical German texts from the 9th to 19th centuries. The project is funded by the DFG and uses technologies like CakePHP, Fedora, and ElasticSearch to power the repository and a JavaScript client. Future plans include integrating other humanities disciplines and improving compliance with standards.
