Lee de Mets is an organist and musician living in Chalfont, PA. He began studying piano at age 6 and organ at age 14, and was appointed organist at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Germantown at age 16. He studied organ under several teachers, including Dr. William T. Timmings, and passed his advanced AGO examination to become a Fellow at age 24. He has a degree in music education from Temple University and has held positions at several Lutheran churches in Pennsylvania and South Carolina, as well as directing music ministry at St. Jude RC Church in Chalfont for 13 years.
