7. THE COLOR THAT WE OPERATE IN WILL BE
INFLUENCED BY THE ACTIVITY
Keep this in mind when determining your
True Colors or the colors of others. Look
for the underlying motivation for the
behavior. If a person is following the rules
because it is the appropriate and
responsible thing to do, it is different than
someone following the rules to keep
harmony or to be liked or accepted by
others. Notice that the action is the same
but the motivation behind it is different.

35. WHAT ARE SOFT SKILLS?
Soft skills is a term often associated with a person's
"EQ" (Emotional Intelligence Quotient), the cluster
of personality traits, social graces, communication,
language, personal habits, friendliness, and
optimism that characterize relationships with
other people.
Soft skills complement hard skills which are the
occupational requirements of a job and many other
activities. They are related to feelings, emotions,
insights and (some would say) an 'inner knowing':
i.e. they provide an important complement to 'hard
skills' and IQ.

47. WALK THIS WAY!! WHAT AN EXCITING JOURNEY!
Discover SELF leadership styles and remember
you may not always be able to use this style in all
situations.
SHARE your partners style and how you can draw
from each others strengths.
Be aware of STAFF style and vary your
professional development accordingly to fit their needs.
STIMULATE leadership in yourself and others.
Have the courage to pair SOFT SKILLS with hard
skills to ensure a strong and successful school.
