This document discusses positive transfer of learning, where learning a task with one part of the body benefits and influences the ability to learn the same task with another part of the body. It provides definitions of positive transfer and experimental transfer, and notes that experimental transfer relates to learning the same task with different limbs. An example experimental design is given to test this, with a pre-test, practice, and post-test for both a preferred and non-preferred limb.
50. A positive type of transfer.
When an organ of a body learns to perform some task with practice,
the other organs of that person has the benefit of being influenced
by the former organs practice.
Transfer of learning relates to learning of the same task but with different
limbs
