Kuali OLE is an open source library management system that is entering its second year of development. In year one, the project formed partnerships, hired a core team, developed prototypes, and released an initial version. Key goals for year two include releasing version 1.0 in December 2012 and implementing strategies for partner institutions. The document highlights the collaborative development approach and innovative technologies being used to build a next-generation library system.
