Leo Minor is a small constellation created in 1687 by Hevelius to fill a gap between Leo and Ursa Major. It contains three bright stars: 46 Leonis Minoris is an orange giant star about 98 light years away with a temperature of 4,397 Celsius. Beta Leonis Minoris is a yellow-orange giant star about 146 light years away with a temperature of 4,802 Celsius. 11 Leo Minoris is a yellow-orange main sequence star about 36.5 light years away with a temperature of 5,927 Celsius.
