This document discusses different methods for farming fish for food, including open pen fishing which contains fish in nets off shore, recirculating aquaculture systems which raises fish in tanks on land, and aquaponics which farms fish and plants together so the plants use the fish waste. It notes the concern that we want to eat more fish than what is available in the oceans.
