Previous knowledge:
Ss know the use of verb to be, simple sentences and adjectives
Learning Objectives:
The students will be able to use and understand the comparatives.
Personal aims:
The students will be motivated by using technology in class.
Vocabulary:
Transportation: car, bus, boat, train, airplane,
helicopter, bicycle, motorcycle, subway, ship, hot
air balloon.
Adjectives: old, new, fast, slow, safe, expensive,
cheap, dangerous, big, small, interesting, boring.
Materials:
Computer, Screen, Whiteboard, Markers, flashcards, glue,
bond paper.

Introduction/
Warm Up
● To break the ice
and involve Ss in
class.
Activity 1.
-T will ask Ss what kind of transportation they used
in their vacations.
-T will choose and paste on the whiteboard 3
transportation vocabulary flashcards.
-Ss have to guess the 3 different types of
transportation by playing a game.
-Ss will make a circle and T will give them a ball.
-They will randomly throw the ball to one another
and T will play music, when T stops the music the
Ss who catches it has 5 seconds to guess one of
the flashcards.
- If Ss fails, then he/she must stand in the center of
the circle and try to intercept the ball in order to
return to the outer circle.
-If Ss intercepts the ball, he or she must guess the
type of transportation in order to return to the circle.
-Multiple students can find themselves in the
center, competing to intercept.

-T will show Ss a slide presentation and some
flashcards. -T will focus Ss attention in
comparatives adjectives grammar rules and point
out the spelling changes that occur with short and
long adjectives.

-T will play an audio about a millionaire uncle.
-Ss have to listen carefully the story.
-.T will ask Ss what types of adjectives they heard
and ask them to join in groups of three to play a

adjectives. when they finish T will give them two
pieces of paper with the following -er and less/more
and Ss have to separate the adjectives in the
correct column.
-T wil ask Ss to make a sentence in teams using
the comparatives adjectives and transportation
vocabulary.
