This document provides a lesson plan for teaching types of assets using a group investigation model. The class is divided into 4 groups, each with a different task to identify and classify types of assets. Group A identifies fixed assets used for a long period. PHASE I STUDENTS ENCOUNTER THE PUZZLING SITUATION
Suppose a business have the following assets;
machinery, stock, building, cash in hand, goodwill, land, trade mark,
cash at bank, furniture.
How can we classify these asset into various group ?
PHASE II STUDENTS EXPLORT REACTION TO THE SITUATION Respond
In this situation ,teacher encourage students to respond freely. Differently
PHASE III STUDENTS EVALUATE STUDY TASK AND ORGANISE
The entire class divided into 4 groups and each group given a task.
Group A is provided with an activity card including the above mentioned assets and
asks them to identify the fixed assets that are used for long period.
Group B is engaged in identifying the current assets which are used for short period
of time. Group C is engaged in identifying the tangible assets which can be touched ,feel or
seen and Group D is identifying the intangible asset which are opposite of tangible asset.
PHASE IV INDEPENDENT AND GROUP STUDY
*Teacher facilitates for group process
*intervene the groups to channel its energy into potentially educative activity.

Teacher co-ordinates the presentation and discussion and clarifies the doubts.

Are Controversies in Statistics Relevant for Responsible AI/ML? A central debate in statistics concerns probability’s role: is it to control error rates (frequentist) or express belief (Bayesian)? Frequentists prioritize error control, ensuring rare false rejections and strong power to detect falsity. For Bayesians, by contrast, evidence from the data resides in the likelihood ratios, ignoring error probabilities. The replication crisis fueled criticism of statistical significance tests, which are blamed for irreproducibility. Yet, selection biases—p-hacking, optional stopping—are the real issue. Ironically, Bayesian alternatives (e.g., Bayes factors) fail to guard against these biases, leading to misguided reforms that discard crucial error control. The same data-dredged hypothesis can occur in Bayes factors, and Bayesian updating—but without direct grounds to criticize flouting of error statistical control. AI/ML shifts the focus away from understanding data generation to optimizing prediction. But when it comes to problems of checking if AI/ML outputs are responsible and trustworthy, I argue, error statistical considerations become relevant. Fairness hacking, and explanation (justification) hacking in XAI, like p-hacking and BF hacking, can make it easy to obtain misleading interpretations of data. Reforms from error statistics: preregistration and adjustment of error rates, are relevant for critically appraising them. I put forward a general requirement that is operable in both fields: A claim lacks warrant if little if anything has been done to detect its flaws—it fails a severe test.

PHASES TEACHER’S ACTIVITY PUPIL ACTIVITY PHASE I STUDENTS ENCOUNTER THE PUZZLING SITUATION Suppose a business have the following assets; machinery, stock, building, cash in hand, goodwill, land, trade mark, cash at bank, furniture. How can we classify these asset into various group ? PHASE II STUDENTS EXPLORT REACTION TO THE SITUATION Respond In this situation ,teacher encourage students to respond freely. Differently PHASE III STUDENTS EVALUATE STUDY TASK AND ORGANISE The entire class divided into 4 groups and each group given a task. Group A is provided with an activity card including the above mentioned assets and asks them to identify the fixed assets that are used for long period. Group B is engaged in identifying the current assets which are used for short period of time. Group C is engaged in identifying the tangible assets which can be touched ,feel or seen and Group D is identifying the intangible asset which are opposite of tangible asset. PHASE IV INDEPENDENT AND GROUP STUDY *Teacher facilitates for group process *intervene the groups to channel its energy into potentially educative activity.

3. PHASE V STUDENTS ANALYSE PROGRESS AND PROCESS  Students analyses students progress Students reports  Students report their results their results Group A: Fixed assets; 1. Machinery 2. Land 3. Building 4. Furniture 1. Cash in hand 2. Cash at bank 3. Stock Group C: Tangible assets; 1. Machinery 5. Cash in hand 2. Land 6. Cash at bank 3. Building 7. Stock 4. Furniture Group D : Intangible assets ; 1. Goodwill 2. Trade mark Teacher co-ordinates the presentation and discussion and clarifies the doubts.
