Drama is a literary composition acted by players on a stage before an audience. It relies on cooperation between writers, actors, producers, and audiences. There is a five-fold structure of drama: 1) Preliminary exposition introduces characters and background, 2) Moment of inciting force presents the main conflict, 3) Rising action develops through crises leading to the climax, 4) Falling action resolves the conflict for or against the protagonist, 5) Denouement reveals the final outcome.
