 Background Information: The children have previously learnt things about the
European Union, the population, the languages that are spoken in Europe, …
 Learning objectives:
To learn about a European country.
To be able to do a power point about their country.
To be able to do an oral presentation about it.
 Competencies involved:
Communicative: doing an oral presentation
Cultural: Talking about a European country
Social: working in groups and do an oral presentation
ICT: Doing a power point
 Assessment:
To do an oral presentation about a country.
To do a power point about a country.

 Description
We are at the end of the unit, and at this point students must show and
explain their presentations. At the end of the oral presentation, the students
are able to ask them some questions related to the project.
Until this moment, they have been working on different aspects about
Europe and finally they have created a power point.

I remind you that this is the end of a whole unit and I just
want to show you the results.
 The aim of the project is to know some things about
Europe: Climate, physical features, languages, countries,
European Union… The final project is a power point where
the students must reflect what they have learned about
Europe in an European country. They must follow a
pattern that is the same for every student and they have
scaffolding for the oral presentation.

 Maybe it was not what it was supposed to
do buy it was really a good projects.
Students used computers, they looked for
information and they created a
powerpoint. At the end they present their
final project to the class.
 I enjoyed it a lot and I think the students
enjoyed it too and above all they learnt lots
of things about Europe.
 I’m sure I’m going to repeat it in the future
using some of the resources we have learnt
in the course.
