Letter of Recommendation for Ya?lle David
3 June 2006
Ya?lle David was my student in the interdisciplinary course PIMA 701 in the Fall semester of 2005, and was my independent study student
in interactive multimedia in the Spring of 2006.
PIMA 701 is a course in collaboration, performance, and technology. Ya?lle did very good work in the course, participating successfully in
eight collaborative projects over the course of the semester. She works well in groups, is very fluent in technology, and is a quick learner. She
is adventurous in her thinking, works hard, and clearly has fun doing it.
As my independent study student Ya?lle took a significant step forward in her understanding of Max/MSP, a language for sound and
multimedia used principally in live performance applications.
I strongly recommend Ya?lle David; she has been a good student, and is a kind and pleasant person.
Sincerely,
John J.A. Jannone
Associate Professor, Department of Television and Radio and Conservatory of Music
Director, Advanced Certificate Program in Performance and Interactive Media Arts

To Whom it May Concern:
I have never worked with anyone quite like Yaelle.
When I started the journey of designing my newborn website, I was quite lost.
I couldn't express what I wanted in words, and often felt helpless and frustrated.
Yaelle was not only a designing genius - she also literally held my hand and guided me
with a lot of love and patience from my place of despair to a land of endless possibilities.
She was very gentle, attentive, innovative and professional, and the outcome
is a beautiful website that is exactly what I wanted it to be, without knowing.
I get compliments on a daily basis and a lot of feedback saying the design
is a perfect reflection of the essence of my website and of the person that I am.
Yaelle is a rare combination of great talent, wisdom, generosity and love.
She has an open mind and a big heart, and is, in my opinion,
the number one expert in making (visual) dreams come true.
I am blessed to have worked with her, and continue to do so.

To Whom It May Concern:
Yaelle is one of the more exciting and vital people I have worked with. Working with
Yaelle was great, her experience and creativity helped us at hyperclip to define our
MVP story, making it a clear-case-to-the-point actionable story.
She is a balance between super professional, quick thinking, insightful and lot's of fun to
work with. She thinks outside of the box, knows how to get the the point fast - and her
lively demeanor makes it a joy to work with her.
I would recommend Yaelle (and have done so in the past). I'd also be honoured to work
with her in the future.
Sincerely,
Kobi Shely

To Whom It May Concern:
I am delighted to write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Yaelle David.
I first met Yaelle when I was introduced to her video and film work over two years ago. I
was touched and moved by her work and have been following her work since then.
I am a documentary filmmaker working in Tel Aviv and New York for the past 8 years. I
received a Peabody Award and three Emmy nominations among other awards and
recognitions for my work. My debut film "To Die in Jerusalem" looks at the Israeli-
Palestinian conflict through the eyes of two mothers on opposing sides connected by the
death of their daughters. The film aired on HBO and in many channels around the world.
Other titles including After the Storm (2009), and Happy You¡¯re Alive (2010), Numbered
(2012). Current films include Caught in the Net (YES, Gucci Tribeca, Chicken & Egg,
Impact Partners), and Dancing In Jaffa (Keshet, Gesher, Righteous Persons Foundation,
Fohs Family Foundation, Foundation for Jewish Culture).
Yaelle David is an emerging artist and social innovator; she uses words, sounds, colors,
images, concepts, films, social networks to create a coherent work around socio-political
realities of the contemporary world.
After several years working in France, and a solid training in France and the USA, Yaelle
David moved to Israel five years ago to pursue her demanding work. She is currently
developing the ¡°Coming Out¡± platform, which I believe, has much potential.
What I like most about her is her drive, motivation and spirit. She is a tremendously hard-
worker, and she is ideal for your company because she is a very bright and talented and
will be able to explore the variety of fields while being able to imply them into practical.
Yaelle will be an outstanding innovator, and I am confident she will grow and excel with
your assistance. I am confident that Yaelle has a very strong and legitimate place in your
company. Your help would grant her the time and visibility she needs to deepen her work,
which has never been so important in Israel and also in the rest of the world.
Yaelle is extremely easy to work with and is very well liked by all her peers not only for her
skills but also her personality. She is a people-person and I have no doubt that she would
be an attribute to your company.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me at the address below.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration in this manner.
Sincerely,
