The document describes Niko Home Control, a modern home electrical installation system. It allows central control of devices to save and monitor energy usage while improving safety and comfort. Key features include ease of use, eco-friendliness, and timeless design. Scenarios are provided that demonstrate how the system can automate lighting, climate control, and more through preset scenes or remote control via touchscreen or smartphone. Energy monitoring and zone heating control are also highlighted as ways to reduce consumption. Motion detectors can automate lighting and provide home security through presence simulation.
14. THE CONCEPT
Niko Home Control is the MODERN ELECTRICAL
INSTALLATION for the home. It allows CENTRAL
CONTROLS, helps you to SAVE and MONITOR
ENERGY. At the same time it makes you feel SAFER
and MORE COMFORTABLE at home.

20. Scenarios
All off
You can switch off all the lights and several devices
(e.g. the PC corner) by pressing this button when
you leave the house.
21. Scenarios
Atmosphere
for watching television or a nice dinner with friends, ...
You create the appropriate atmosphere for each activity
(lighting, sun blinds, heating, ) by pushing just one
button.
22. Scenarios
Time control
At 7:00 am, the sun blinds open and the
bathroom is already nicely heated.
Walking route
Before descending, I press the button
"rise" to bring the light at a comfortable
level in the stairwell and the kitchen.
23. Scenarios
You can switch on and off all light points in
the house from a central point using the
touchscreen. You do not need to return to
the room where you forgot to switch off the
light.
25. Scenarios
When visiting the toilet the motion
detector turns on the light and the
ventilation system is activated. When
leaving, you turn off the light yourself or
this will happen automatically by the
motion detector. After two minutes the
ventilation system returns to normal.
26. Scenarios
At any time of the day, the eco-display
shows the amount of energy spent in your
house, thus enabling you to see which
devices waste energy. By pressing the
eco-button once, you can immediately
visualise the energy reduction.
When you leave the house, the ventilation
system switches into the ecological
mode. This will prevent the waste of
precious heat by ventilating unnecessarily
or due to the electricity consumption of
the ventilators.
27. Scenarios
The touchscreen enables you to easily
monitor your energy consumption. Both
overall and individual consumption: light
circuits, socket outlets, heating, gas, ...
Both current and cumulative consumption
per day/week/month and year.
28. Scenarios
The heating zone control allows you to
save lots of energy in a comfortable way,
because it is not necessary to heat all
rooms at the same time.
Thus, you heat your living rooms at the
moments you prefer. For example, the
bathroom only between 7am and 8am
and between 22pm and 23pm.
You can monitor the temperature of the
bathroom on a display and modify it with
the button on the thermostat.
29. Scenarios
Safety
Motion detectors not only control the lighting automatically, they can also activate an indoor
alarm in case of absence.
Due to a presence simulation, it looks as if somebody is at home: a light will be occasionally
switched on when dark. No one will notice that you are on holiday.
