Under the hood…. Lexus LFA is powered by a 4.8 litre V10 engine giving maximum output of 412 kw. Pistons are constructed using forged aluminium. Connecting rods and valves are made up of forged titanium. Compression ratio 12:1.
Transmission and Chassis  The gear box made by Aisen company is an six speed automatic(electrohydraulic transmission) operated with paddle shifters.  LFA frame is made up of carbon fibre reinforced polymer(CFRP) centre monocoque with front and rear sub frames to reduce damage maintenance cost.  Over 65% weight of the body is of carbon fibre and it is aerodynamically designed to create down force for stability and traction.
Controlling  Electrically powered steering  Dampers utilized in suspension system features an remote fluid reservoirs with expanding and contracting bellows.  Brake system utilizes carbon ceramic discs controlled by electronic braking system  Stability control system consists of rear speed sensitive Gurney Flap used for sudden braking and for controlling at high speeds.
Additional Features…. LED tail light. Carbon fibre roof top. Three exhaust combined inside an inverted triangle. State of art engine management system having two modes i.e Normal Mode and Sports Mode. Featuring LAUNCH CONTROL SYSTEM.
