Linden Hall in Lititz, Pennsylvania offers a comprehensive equestrian education program with riding instruction focused on show jumping, show hunters, equitation, and three-day eventing. Whether you wish to compete internationally or are looking to
become involved with horses for the first time, you will find a home
at Linden Hall.
A comprehensive study for both horse and rider, Linden Halls
riding program establishes a strong foundation in riding and
horsemanship with a focus on Show Jumping, Show Hunters,
Equitation, and Three-Day Eventing instruction. Students who
participate in riding practice a minimum of two days a week.

The Equestrian Education Program at Linden Hall offers a year round competitive training
schedule. Riders may have the opportunity to train and compete in the southern United States
during the winter months. Students are responsible to maintain their academic standing
through regular communication with their instructors. Faculty are flexible and responsive to
students who must be away from school for elite competitions.
Linden Halls Varsity and Junior Varsity Equestrian Teams have competed at many of the finest
national competitions including:
Ms. Gillian Beale King, Director of Equestrian Education, and Ms. Hannah Kreider, Assistant
Director of Equestrian Education, are both experienced riders and competitors who have
worked with riders of all levels and disciplines.
Ms. Beale King is an international-level Equestrian with extensive knowledge in the education,
training, and showing process. Incorporating both American and European philosophies into
her riding and coaching programs, she has trained among top international show jumping
and three-day event riders including her parents, Susie Beale and Doug King; her grandfathers,
Major Jeremy Beale and Hunter King; Irish National Show Jumping Champion, Paddy
ODonnell; and Olympic Eventing Gold Medalist, Phillip Dutton.
Ms. Kreider is an experienced Hunter/Jumper rider herself and has worked with Ms. Beale King
to formulate a world-class training program with impeccable horse care. This, coupled with the
top-tier education offered at Linden Hall, provides a comprehensive, goal-oriented
Equestrian experience.
EQUESTRIAN EDUCATION PROGRAM
